At this level, the students will understand the key points of an everyday conversation, or a radio or television broadcast.
In class, they will work on expressing themselves on personal subjects and on taking part in a conversation on subjects that they are familiar with. They could, for example, talk about a film that they have seen and explain or justify their opinion of the film. In reaching this level, they will be able to handle most situations that someone would typically encounter while travelling in a francophone country.
