I delight in serving The Lang School in my role as the Director of Diversity, Equity & Belonging. The rich mixture of our students from such a diversity of backgrounds inspires me to help to create curriculum, programming, and activities that encourage students to embrace diversity, to honor their identities, and to stand up for equity and justice. Prior to Lang, I was a science teacher at a local charter school and I have served on Diversity, Equity, and Belonging boards for independent + charter schools. Prior to my work in education, I worked for civil rights and social justice organizations in leadership roles. I also teach Bikram yoga, Inferno Hot Pilates, breathwork, and I am a practicing herbalist. I love traveling, learning about new cultures, spending time with my family, and doing hot yoga.
