School Psychologist (Upper School)

UNIVERSITY OF MICHIGAN - BA
UNIVERSITY OF MARYLAND - PH.D.

I am excited for the new school year! I am a certified school psychologist with experience working with students ranging from preschool to high school age. Prior to Lang, I was a district wide psychologist for Woodcliff Lake Public Schools in Woodcliff Lake, NJ for 12 years. Before that, I also worked as a school psychologist at Madison Junior School in Madison, NJ, Fox Lane High School in Bedford, NY and for Bedford’s alternative high school program, Hillside. In my prior roles, I was a case manager for hundreds of students with various psychological and academic needs, and created and implemented individualized education plans. I have extensive experience conducting psychoeducational evaluations of suspected learning disabilities, intellectual functioning, as well as social-emotional disorders. At Lang, I am able to spend much of my time conducting counseling groups and individual therapy to support students’ social-emotional needs, a role where my true passion lies. I utilize an integrative approach and believe that frequently observing students in the classroom and consulting with teachers, other school staff and parents is instrumental in achieving school-based goals.

I received my BA in Psychology from the University of Michigan and my Ph.D. in School Psychology from the University of Maryland. When not at school, you will find me baking chocolate treats for my family, going on walks with my labradoodle Rigby, traveling, and cheering on my two children on the sports field.
