Robert Mihran Cox
Board Chair
Robert Mihran Cox serves as chair of the board of trustees of The Lang School.
Rob is an attorney and consultant based in Gowanus, Brooklyn. He has experience in biomedical research, statistical analysis and industrial manufacturing in addition to his law practice focused on intellectual property and business law.
Rob’s son has attended Lang since 2020, where Rob has been actively involved in the Lang Parents Association (Lang PA). Rob also serves on the Alumni Council of Williams-Mystic — a multidisciplinary semester-length academic program including original research, museum work, and field seminars taught by Williams College faculty in residence at the Mystic Seaport Museum in Connecticut.
Rob earned a concurrent JD+MA in Law and Conflict Resolution at Georgetown University in 2009 and a BA in Biology at Swarthmore College in 2003. Rob graduated Syosset High School in 1999 on nearby Long Island.
