I am excited to join the Lang community this year. Working with children has always been a passion of mine. I luckily found my passion fresh out of undergrad when I became an Assistant Teacher at the Child Development Center in Harlem. Although the program has closed I am grateful to have started my journey in special education there as it introduced me to the world of Speech Therapy and is the reason why I’m in the process of pursuing a Masters and license in that field. Since then I have worked across many different settings in a variety of positions within private education. I have also dabbled in ABA and greatly enjoy the fluid and flexible, child-led approach I’ve learned. I truly believe a combination of various skill sets creates great success in and out of the classroom! Outside of Lang you can find me in the gym staying active, going on scenic hikes, or cozying up with a good book and hot coffee. I can’t wait to learn alongside new educators and students this year!
