School Psychologist (Upper School)

THE COLLEGE OF NEW JERSEY - BA
TEACHERS COLLEGE, COLUMBIA UNIVERSITY - MA, EdM

I am excited to be entering my third year at The Lang School as the Upper School Psychologist! I am a certified school psychologist with extensive experience supporting students of different ages and backgrounds. In my work, I focus on building strong, trusting relationships with students, families, and outside teams so that we can work together to help each student grow. I specialize in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), but I consistently adapt my approach to fit each student’s unique needs. I also value open communication and welcome feedback from students and families.

Before joining Lang, I worked as a school psychologist at the Child Mind Institute, where I built my skillset conducting detailed neuropsychological evaluations and partnering with schools to implement strategies and supports. Earlier in my career, I served as the building psychologist at an elementary school in Harlem, NY, where I provided counseling, behavior assessment, evaluations, and consultation for parents and teachers.

I received my degree in School Psychology from Teachers College, Columbia University. Before pursuing my career as a school psychologist, I worked in human resources and recruiting. Outside of my work at Lang, I love being active, cooking, reading, and spending time outdoors with my family and my dog, Heidi.
