I’m a STEM educator with five years of experience teaching in schools for accelerated learners. Before entering education, I worked on political campaigns in both Colorado and Washington, D.C. As a teacher, I use scientific principles and mathematical modeling to help students understand not only natural phenomena, but human behavior and decision making.

STEM material is vital for teaching how to observe, quantify and investigate the world around us. My practice is focused on active discovery and building concepts from first principles. I’m thrilled to join a school like Lang that focuses on the strengths of each individual learner.

Outside of work, I can be found running, cycling, traveling, exploring New York City, and playing card games and board games (favorites include MTG, Dominion and Flamme Rouge). I seek tasks that challenge me physically, intellectually and culturally. I’m excited to be at Lang and learn about the diverse perspectives of the students and families.
