I’m thrilled to return to Lang this year as the history teacher for our 6-8th grade students! I moved to the city in the fall of 2024 after five years in Middle Tennessee working in youth development. My background in supporting 2E middle and high school students led me to Lang where I quickly embraced the culture of acceptance, affirmation, and healthy challenge that Lang offers.I’m originally from Tallahassee, FL and attended Florida Southern College. I studied Religion and Women & Gender Studies which further developed my fascination for human behavior, patterns, and constructs. I bring a passion for human stories, critical inquiry, and inclusive learning to the classroom and can’t wait to traverse through history with a spirit of curiosity and critique alongside our students! Outside of school, I enjoy going to concerts, traveling, working on music with friends, and spending time with my dog, Georgie. Feel free to call me “Jules”!
