I’m excited to return as Lang's Middle School History teacher this year to explore Ancient Civilizations and the history of New York State with our 6-8th grade students! After working with teenagers for almost 10 years in youth development and education, I continue to enjoy their endless curiosity, discovery, and creativity -- especially that of 2e learners. My hope for Middle School History students this year is that they feel safe to ask questions, confident that they will be heard, valued in the classroom, and capable of healthy challenge. I will be bringing my passion for human stories, critical inquiry, and inclusive learning to the classroom and can’t wait to traverse through history alongside our students! Outside of school, I enjoy going to concerts, traveling, working on music with friends, and spending time with my dog, Georgie. Feel free to call me “Jules”!
