It is an honor to work with the incredible faculty and staff at The Lang School as the Director for Staff Development. My educational career began in 2008 as an ELA, Social Studies, and Reading Intervention teacher in Pennsylvania. After 8 years in public school, I decided to move to NYC where I became a founding middle school teacher at The Neighborhood Charter School of Harlem. In 2018, I graciously accepted a position in curricular leadership where I designed ELA curriculum tailored to each cohort of students, and provided instructional coaching and professional development for our staff. A passion for serving a wonderfully complex population of twice-exceptional students led me to The Lang School in the spring of 2022. I am truly grateful for the opportunity to work collaboratively with my colleagues in order to provide an optimal learning environment for all students. My favorite extracurricular activities include spending time with my family, exploring the city with friends, and enjoying Central Park with my dog, Peter!
