ADELPHI UNIVERSITY - MA IN ART EDUCATION
PURDUE UNIVERSITY GLOBAL - POST-GRADUATE CERTIFICATE IN BEHAVIOR ANALYSIS

My name is Maggie, and I was born and raised in Westchester, NY. After being a New Yorker for my entire life, I've recently moved to Jersey City where I spend my afternoons bringing my dog for long walks in the park. I began my educational career as an Assistant Teacher. While completing my Master's Degree in Art Education, I transitioned to becoming a General Education Lead Teacher in an Early Childhood classroom. Eventually, I took on the role of in-house Atelierista (Art Teacher) for several years.

With aspirations to shift into the field of Art Therapy, I pursued a Post-Graduate Certificate in Behavior Analysis. I believe every student is unique and full of potential. I strive to cultivate a supportive and inspiring environment where students feel empowered to take creative risks and celebrate their individuality, fostering not only artistic skills but also confidence and a strong sense of self.

Outside of work, my passions include my rescue pup, Gator, and directing Shire Village Camp, a sleepaway camp in Western Massachusetts. I've been part of the camp community since I was a camper myself back in 2001.
