Growing up on the Oregon Coast and in Hawaii, exploring sandy beaches, rocky tide pools, lush forests, and the occasional lava tube, the scientific phenomena of the natural world enthralled me. Since 2003, I’ve shared that love of science with countless students throughout New York City. After nearly 25 years in New York, I still approach the city with that same curiosity (and love of the subway), looking for the systems, stories, and science hidden in plain sight. I’m excited to continue that exploration at The Lang School.

Beyond Lang’s walls, you’ll find me at Midtown Comics picking up the newest releases, wandering the aisles of the New York Public Library, basking in the glow of the newest blockbuster at the movie theater, or running and biking along the Hudson River.
