MEMORIAL UNIVERSITY OF NEWFOUNDLAND - BS IN ARCHAEOLOGY & PHYSICAL ANTHROPOLOGY
NEW YORK UNIVERSITY - MS IN OCCUPATIONAL THERAPY

I am excited to continue to serve the students and families of the Lang School as an Occupational Therapist. Having joined the Lang community in 2016 and being in professional practice since 2007, I find myself blessed every day to grow and learn alongside our gifted student body and faculty. Before joining the Lang team, I was an Outpatient Pediatric OT at Charleston Pediatric Rehabilitation in South Carolina. Prior to moving south, I was the Senior Occupational Therapist at The Gateway Schools of New York and Createabilities Occupational Therapy, a private pediatric sensory gym in New York City. I have extensive experience in clinical and school-based practice, exclusively in pediatrics, and I specialize in sensory integration therapy and treatment. I am also a Certified Exercise Physiologist through the American College of Sports Medicine. When I'm not providing OT at The Lang School, I manage my own private pediatric occupational therapy practice which promotes fitness, exercise, and wellness in pediatric and special populations. I am a huge advocate of self care and enjoy time in the weight room followed by a sauna or hot tub. I am an avid runner and regularly participate in marathons (26.2 Miles) and “Ultra” marathons ranging in distances from 50 kilometers to 100 miles.
